Hyderabad these days is known for its highly structured

sixth Qutb Shahi dynasty monarch, built the city in the late 16th century.

along the southern banks of the Musi River, prospered as a hub of art, culture,
and commerce. But Hyderabad truly came into its own as a cosmopolitan center
under the rule of the Nizams, who came to power in the early 1700s and were
known for their lavish palaces, imposing mosques, and lively bazaars.
With its winding streets and rows of buildings and monuments
dating back hundreds of years, Hyderabad's old city in particular functioned as
the centre of the city's socio-cultural environment. And with that there also
came the existence of the most attractive and talked about place in Hyderabad
which is also the main tourist place of it, ‘Charminar’.
But its not just the Charminar which is the attraction of
the Old city of Hyderabad, there are quite a few of them which one needs to
visit when they take a trip to Hyderabad and specifically the old city side of
it. But Definitely Charminar is an important one which cannot be skipped, and
along with it here are a few more of them which one compulsorily needs to visit
in order to explore the ‘old’ side of Hyderabad.
Mecca Masjid

oldest mosques in India, the Mecca Masjid. Built in the era of Sultan Muhammad
Quli Qutb Shah, this magnificent mosque is a feat of architecture, with an

Durbar Hall of the Palace, meander among the verdant grounds, and picture the
opulence of the bygone period when they come to Old City.
Laad Bazaar

visiting the Old City. It is a busy market known for its magnificent lacquer
bangles and traditional Hyderabadi apparel and one will itself in the colourful
tapestry of colours and noises. It's located quite near to Charminar which
makes it all the way more special and bustling. The rich tapestry of local
culture can be seen widely as you explore through its winding alleyways, which
are packed with booths offering everything from glittering silk to fragrant
spices.
Golconda Fort

Charminar

The Charminar is a magnificent example of iconic architecture that stands tall as the city of Hyderabad's emblem. This magnificent structure, which was constructed in 1591 by Sultan Muhammad Quli Qutb Shah, is well-known for its four enormous arches, each of which is decorated with elaborate Islamic themes and tall minarets. Climbing the slender spiral staircase of Charminar will give you an extremely beautiful vistas of the busy city and its surroundings.
